This sole parenting business can be tough work, and quite hard to make ground rules without letting them slide because you are just too tired to care that ONE time, and then the children realise that the rules really CAN be cheanged and its all down hill from there.
It has been 24 hours without ANY television... I think thats the longest the girls have ever gone without it other than when we have been camping!
Its going well... I quite like it! Whenever I feel like switching it on for some peace and quiet I get out the colouring books and pencils.
They are also now sharing a room, I am hoping this new togetherness, along with room sharing will help them create a better bond, and in turn less scwabbles that I have to break up... girls are most certainly quite viscious at times!
Bed time is always a relief but I guess this is all new to them and indeed a little more fun than going to bed alone, SO I am hanging in there hoping that night time will eventually settle into another routine, hopefully a better one than before.
ok well thats me for today. Missing My darling husband like crazy and wishing he was here to share in all the fun. xx
